Introduction to Interoception – Understanding the Body’s Eighth Sense

Interoception is often referred to as the body’s eighth sense, responsible for helping individuals understand internal body signals such as hunger, thirst, breathing, heart rate, and emotional responses. These internal signals play an essential role in emotional regulation, body awareness, and self-regulation.

Understanding Primitive Reflexes and Their Impact on Development

Primitive reflexes are automatic movement patterns that develop in early infancy and play an important role in neurological development. When these reflexes remain active beyond the appropriate developmental stage, they can affect posture, coordination, learning ability, attention, and emotional regulation.
